Welcome to Break My App. By booking a session, you agree to these terms. Think of this as our agreement on what we are responsible for, and what we aren't.

1. What the Service Is

We provide manual exploratory testing services.
  • We use human testers, not automated tools.
  • We do our best to find bugs, but we do not guarantee finding every single issue.
  • The goal is to stress-test your app and find UX/logic breaks.

2. Scope & Limitations

  • Time-Boxed: Testing is limited to the duration or scope of the plan you purchased (Vibe, Chaos, or Deep).
  • Access-Based: We can only test what we can reasonably access based on the credentials or environment you provide.
  • Scope: We cover the agreed-upon plans and flows. We do not test everything imaginable.

3. No Liability for Production Issues

By using our service, you acknowledge that:

  • We are not responsible for any data loss, downtime, or damages that may occur during testing.
  • If you provide a production environment, you accept the risks associated with chaos testing in production.
  • You (the customer) decide what fixes to implement and deploy. We just report the news.

4. Confidentiality & Access

We take your security seriously.

  • We will never share your app's code, data, or bug reports with anyone else.
  • Access credentials provided for testing are used solely for that purpose.
  • You may revoke our access at any time.

5. Refund Policy

We aim for fairness, but need to protect our time.

  • No refunds are generally provided after testing has started.
  • A 50% refund may be issued only if absolutely no bugs or issues are found during the session.
  • Full refunds are only issued if we strictly fail to deliver the service (e.g., we never performed the test).

6. Intellectual Property

  • Your App: You retain full ownership of your application and code.
  • Reports: You own the bug reports and recordings we deliver to you.
  • Marketing: We may ask for your permission to use anonymized examples or testimonials for our marketing, but we will never do so without asking first.
